not an official stop

hi.

we made it to venice. hooray!!! when we initially decided to go to verona en route to venice, it turns out none of us were totally convinced. But Verona was friggin awesome. We bought a ten benji Verona pass, and saw every sight there was to see. This includes planet earth's gratest tourist destination, the house of juliet.

i want to remind you that romeo and juliet were fiction. in other words, they are bullshit. but when you can basically see their stuff for free...it's like, why not.

so we stood in the balcony and did that jazz. it makes for a good story i suppose. what was funny is that 10 minutes later we happened upon romeo's house, and it was marked by like a pebble or something. basically, like always, no one gives a shit about being a boy. because if i were a boy, i would understand, how it feels to love a girl, i swear i'd be a better man.

so blah blah blah verona was awesome, and then we came to venice and met lj. our apartment here is super sick. we had a couple of two for one belinis at an american jazz bar (even in italy a beeyotch can find a happy hour), then went to dinner at ostere marscone. our waiter was named stefan, and he was in love with us. so much in love that he bought us a liter of wine and then offered to take us on a boat tour of venice. he said, "since there are four of you, you don't have to be scared." i like that logic on the way back to our palace we stopped at a bar and had some grappo and a couple shots courtesy of our french/english/spanish bartender.now we are home drinking more wine and having a dance party. there are more pictures of the dance party than there are of any sights we've seen. that's all i'm permitted to type.
